Same here, single-client with dual monitor in fixed-windows mode. Graphics card is AMD HD 6870, latest catalyst drivers.
Please look into this, the game is unplayable right now :( |

Radeon HD 6870, latest catalyst drivers, 16gb RAM, single client, dual monitor setup with large fixed window spanning two screens.
A maybe interesting bit is that despite the drop in FPS the fans on the graphics card do _not_ go as fast as they used to (that is, it seems like the card is underused).
In my case it seems not a RAM problem, as loading times are as snappy as usual and I do not notice any swapping. |

On my single-client dual-monitor setup, I tried to reduce the screen to a single monitor and switched from "fixed window" mode to fullscreen mode. This _seems_ to have restored performance, but I'm still testing out.
Could it be a problem with fixed window mode? It seems like a lot of people affected are either running multiple clients and/or multiple monitors. |

Is this considered fixed? After a couple of days in which the problem had gone away (maybe thanks to the suggestions about win7 compositing, turned off all desktop effects), the situation is again depressingly bad. Sitting in a station doing _nothing_ has the fps jumping from 30 to 60 every few seconds with interval default. With interval immediate it seems better but there's still clearly some jitter. And this is a mid/high end PC.
Are there any changes on SiSi that still have to be deployed on TQ? What's going on?

This is what I'm talking about::

Just sitting there not interacting at all with anything. FPS fluctuates periodically between 30 and 60.
EDIT: another example, for some reason the fluctuation is faster now:
